Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: WP Test Email plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.1.8 Description: The WP Test Email plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Email Logs due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Recommendations: For versions up to, and including, 1.1.8, update to a version later than 1.1.8 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Email Logs feature to minimize the risk of exploitation.
